- Bent Rods
If the materials that have been used for constructing cylinder rods are not as strong as the application requires or if the diameter of the rod is insufficient, they can bend. When a bend occurs, it will only worsen with the increase in the load pressure. Over time, the seal will fail and result in increased leakage.
